Privacy Policy

This policy explains how PawMe handles information across our shop, pet profiles, NFC tags, and Republic of Singapaw community.

Last updated: 4 October 2026

Public information

Published pet details, photos, status, and contact information allowed by your settings. Anyone with the profile link can view them.

Private account information

Sign-in verification, sessions, order history, delivery information, and order-only uploads. These are not shown on your public pet profile.

Information We Collect

When you order, create a pet profile, or contact us, we collect the information you provide: your name, email, phone number, delivery address, order details, personalisation text, uploaded photos, and design notes.

Pet profiles may include your pet’s name, photos, date of birth, species, breed, sex, birthplace, neighbourhood, blood type, microchip number, story, and status such as missing, adoption, or memorial. We also store profile identifiers, NFC profile connections, sharing preferences, and account verification and session information.

Our website and service providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, and request logs when you use the service.

Why We Use Your Information

We use your information to personalise and produce your items, process payments, deliver orders, provide previews and tracking, answer support requests, and handle quality concerns. Photos and design notes are used to create the product you requested.

We use account details to verify your identity and let you manage your pets and orders. Pet information and your sharing choices support pet identification, NFC profiles, Republic of Singapaw community features, and Lost & Found contact. Technical information supports service operation, security, and troubleshooting.

Public Pet Profile Information

A published pet profile is accessible to anyone who has its link, including someone who scans a connected NFC tag. It may show your pet’s photos, name, digital ID card details such as date of birth and citizen number, story, status, and optional information you add, including neighbourhood, blood type, and microchip number. Only add details you are comfortable sharing publicly.

Contact visibility depends on your sharing settings and profile status. When contact sharing is enabled, your owner name may be shown alongside contact details, and an email may be displayed according to your public-email setting. Missing, adoption, and assistance statuses can display your phone number and email to help people contact you, even when the usual public-email option is off. Check the public preview before saving.

Listing your pet in Republic of Singapaw is a separate sharing choice. The community view uses your pet-information and contact-sharing choices; it may include your owner name and the contact method you choose. Not listing a profile in the community does not make its NFC or direct profile link private. Other people may copy or share information that you publish.

Private Account Information

Account verification codes, sign-in sessions, order history, delivery addresses, payment references, and order-only uploads are not part of your public pet profile. An NFC scan does not give the finder access to your account or orders.

Your email is used for account verification and can also be a public contact address when your sharing settings permit it. A photo uploaded for an order is not automatically a community photo; photos you add to a published pet profile can be viewed through that profile. Owner details chosen for community contact sharing may also be visible there.

NFC & Lost and Found

A connected NFC tag opens your pet’s published profile in a browser. Finders can see the public pet details and contact information available under your current settings and status. No special app is required; a compatible NFC-enabled phone and internet connection are needed.

Marking a pet as missing adds a missing-pet notice. Enable contact sharing if you want finders to contact you. The NFC tag is an identification link; it does not provide live GPS tracking.

Editing or Deleting Your Information

Sign in with your profile email to edit your pet’s details, photos, status, and community sharing settings. Review the public preview when changing contact visibility. Updates use the same profile link.

To request deletion of a pet profile, uploaded information, or account data, email hello@pawme.sg with enough information to identify the profile or order. We may need to verify that you own the account before acting. There is currently no self-service button to delete an entire pet profile. Removing a profile also affects access from its connected NFC tag. Some order or transaction records may need to be retained for outstanding orders, support, accounting, or legal obligations.

Data Retention

Pet profiles are stored so their links and connected NFC tags continue to work until the profile is removed. Order details, uploaded images, and support records are retained to fulfil orders and support related enquiries. The service currently has no fixed automatic deletion period for these records.

You can contact us to request deletion or ask about retention for your information. Any applicable retention requirements and outstanding service needs will be considered when handling your request. We do not promise immediate removal of copies already shared by other people or held in service-provider backups.

Payments, Delivery & Service Providers

We use service providers to operate PawMe, including Stripe for card payments, Resend for transactional email, and hosting, database, and image-storage services. Delivery providers receive the name, address, contact details, and shipment information needed to deliver your parcel. Payment details entered with Stripe are processed by Stripe; PawMe uses payment references and status information rather than storing your full card details.

Providers may process information outside Singapore, depending on their infrastructure. Their own privacy notices also describe how they process information through their services. We share information needed to provide the relevant service or respond to applicable legal requirements.

Cookies & Browser Storage

We use cookies for sign-in sessions and browser storage, including IndexedDB, local storage, and session storage, to keep your cart, designs, and in-progress choices available. Clearing browser storage can remove saved drafts or sign you out.

The current website does not include a dedicated third-party analytics or advertising tracker. Hosting, payment, and other service providers may maintain operational logs or use their own cookies when you use their services. You can control cookies and site storage through your browser settings, although some features may stop working.
